Name | : | Antecedents of Buying Intention towards Green Products – A Structural Equation Modelling Approach |
Author | : | Dr. Debasis Pani,Dr. Sunil Kumar Pradhan |
Abstract | : |
The consumer in the present era is not only sensitive towards
environment but also shows his concern towards environmental
problem and health issues related to consumption of the non-green
product. Hence the consumer ensures his consumption activity should
not have any detrimental affect towards the environment; consequently
the consumer shows favourable attitude towards the green product and
strongly support for the consumption of eco-friendly product. This
development of the green consumption behaviour is strongly preceded
by the attitude and behavioural belief system of the consumer. Earlier
cross-sectional studies have shown the attitude of the consumer is the
important factor towards buying intention but earlier studies have not
clearly stated the importance of social and control belief on the buying
intention of the consumer. The thrust of the current study is to explore the
relationship of attitude of green consumer towards their perceived
subjective norms, perceived consumption effectiveness and buying
intention. The data was collected from 428 respondents by adopting
multistage random sampling procedures from important cities of
Odisha. The collected data were analyzed with PLS-SEM technique.

Name | : | Post-Covid Tourist Behavior Reflection in Trip Planning: A Study of Seismic Shift due to Demographics |
Author | : | Dr.Jasveen Kaur,Jobanjeet Kaur |
Abstract | : |
This empirical study aims to study the seismic shift in the post-COVID
travel behaviour of Indian tourists due to demographic variables.
Secondly, it analyzes the effects of travel restrictions on tourists' travel
plans. This study is based on primary data, a systematic literature review,
and experts' opinions on the tourism area. A web-based and offline
survey was done using the purposive and snowball sampling techniques.
Furthermore, the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis,
exploratory factor analysis, an independent t-test, and the analysis of
variance technique. The data analysis revealed stunning results, where
no significant difference was found in the travellers' behaviours
according to their gender and marital status. However, the travellers' age,
education, occupation, annual family income, and purpose of travel
greatly influence their travel behaviour. It was found that travel
restrictions significantly impacted the travel plans of the travellers, and
travellers did not want to resume travelling for at least six months.
Travellers postponed and sometimes cancelled their travel plans till they
could find some safe options for travel. To overcome this situation, travel
suppliers can customize their products to tourists' "new" behaviour,
focusing on respective demographic variables and the effects of travel
restrictions on their travel plans following the age of acceleration. Yet,
the small sample size of the study would limit the generalization of this
research. Further, this study may be conducted in other industries, such
as retail, to identify consumer post-COVID purchasing behaviour

Name | : | Trend or a potential paradigm shift: A Critical Study on Positioning Electric Vehicles (EVs) in India |
Author | : | Dr. Rabinarayan Patnaik |
Abstract | : |
As a means of transportation, vehicles have been of immense support to
the human civilization since centuries. Like any other products, vehicles
in its popular name as automobiles have gone through several changes in
different stages of time due to the developments in the industrial
environment as well as expectations from the users. Since the beginning
of steam powered engine till now consumers of automobiles have been
acquainted with the driving or propulsion component of the product.
However, due to certain factors like availability of fuels, entry of leading
global players etc., consumers across the global have been acquainted
with the fossil-fuel based vehicles since long. With the increased number
of usage in regard to the fossil-fuel engine vehicles, the emission of
polluted gases has reciprocally inflated the level of harmful elements to
the human health. Thus the invention and proliferation of battery
operated vehicles also known as electric vehicles in the last few decades
across the globe has been considered to be a game changer. The common
belief in adopting and using the electric vehicles (EVs) may lie in its
ability to run without emitting the harmful gases thus pronouncing it as
an eco-friendly product. Initially the market of EVs was mostly
dominated by startups or local to regional players.

Author | : | Dr. Tanvi Thakkar,Dr Shilpa Narayanswamy |
Abstract | : |
The contemporary business world aims at attaining sustainability in
market place. For attaining sustainability, business organizations need to
strategize on various aspects which enables them to gain competitive
advantage at workplace and among the catalogue of such aspects, one of
the vital aspects is training of employees. Training is defined as an
incessant process which enhances the targeted skills of employees. In
order to carry out training process, organizations are needed to explore
skills etc. among employees which needs improvement or advancement.
Therefore to attain the expected results from employees, training act as a
catalyst to enhance employee performance. Therefore, almost all types
of organizations, Government or private; national or international train
their employees to acquire the requisite skills. Alike other business
organizations, jewelry organizations also train their employees. Indeed,
jewellery industry is among the labour intensive industry which relies
chiefly on employees for profitability and long term sustainability. Thus,
the said organizations train their employees. But an insight into the
relevant literature has shown that although the jewelry manufacturing
industry train their employees with the underlying rationale of
enhancing their productivity yet no considerable attempts have been
made by the said industry to explore explicit impact of training on
employee productivity. Therefore, the present study has aimed to
explore impact of training on productivity of employees working in
jewelry manufacturing organizations registered with SEEPZ, Mumbai.
To serve this purpose, a sample of 501 employees have been taken from
