Author | : | Mishu Tripathi,Dr. Nirmala Joshi,Dr. Tariq Aziz |
Abstract | : |
Purpose: The main aim of this research is to explore the moderating
effect of age and size of the firm on the relationship between selected
capital structure and performance variables of non-financial Indian
companies listed on an index of National Stock Exchange (NSE) named
NSE 500 for a period of 21 years (2000-2020)
Design/methodology/approach: Pooled Ordinary Least Square
Method, Fixed Effect and Random Regression Model
Findings: The empirical results show that selected variables of capital
structure have a negative impact on financial performance variables.
Further, with the inclusion of age and size as moderating variables under
the selected Regression Model results showed that both the moderating
variables play a significant moderating role in the relationship between
capital structure and firm performance.

Name | : | Consumer Behaviour towards Green Restaurants: Empirical Analysis using Theory of Planned Behaviour |
Author | : | Akshita Gupta,Shubha Johri |
Abstract | : |
As a significant source of greenhouse gas emissions, restaurants
confront environmental and economic issues. Customers and associated
concerns look for restaurants to be socially responsible. Therefore,
making solid environmental decisions is crucial to their success. More
restaurant operators see the need for eco-friendly operations and are
trying to satisfy it. "Green" restaurants have risen as more businesses
decrease their carbon footprint. Consumer behaviour in this area needs
additional research. Despite the abundance of sustainability studies in
the restaurant business, there are few on green attitudes. To the authors,
no empirical research has been undertaken in Rajasthan, India's unique
cultural state. This researcher employed an updated theoretical
framework (TPB)to explain guests' intents to eat at green services
provided restaurants (TPB). The work objectives of the studywas to
examine how consumer views regarding green restaurants are
influenced by subjective standards, perceived behaviour control, and
normative beliefs.

Name | : | Assessing the Performance of Pension Funds: A Study on the State Government Scheme of NPS in India |
Author | : | Dipankar Das,Dr. Ram Chandra Das |
Abstract | : |
Individuals or employees invest in the National Pension System (NPS)
intending to grow their money and receive a pension at the time of
retirement. The pension system is directly related to stock market
fluctuations and as a result, returns from NPS account to the investors
cannot be possible to predict easily. However, due to the impact on
investors' savings, any NPS investor, new or old, must assess the
performance of the pension schemes. This study has taken into account
the performance of all three funds under the State Government Scheme
of NPS. The study makes use of NAV data of the funds under
consideration for ten years. Descriptive statistics, correlation, One Way
ANOVA, weighted average return, straight line equation, return per unit
of risk, Sharpe and Treynor ratios were used for analysis. According to
the study, the weighted average return of the State Government Scheme
in NPS is 9.23%. Furthermore, the study discovers that the returns of the
funds have a strong and positive correlation between them.

Name | : | Application of Machine Learning in Analyzing the Psychological Well Being amongst the Employees in the Private Sector |
Author | : | Vinod Kumar,Vijit Chaturvedi,Babu Lal,Sohaib Alam |
Abstract | : |
As a result of a wide range of influencing factors, the amount of stress
experienced by Indian workers has grown, which is a major source of
worry for companies. This research used various machine learning
techniques to acquire its true data, and it was conducted with the
participation of Indian working professionals. The goal was to better
understand the elements that influence the psychological health of
professionals. This research looks at things from two different angles.
The first step is to recognise the significant causal factors that bring
about stress in the lives of working professionals, as well as the second
step is to anticipate the degrees of stress that they experienced.
Experiments have been done using a variety of supervised machine
learning methods. The KNN Algorithm has the best accuracy in
comparison to Decision Tree Algorithm and the naïve Bayes Algorithm.
This study predicted stress and psychological issues using machine
learning.

Name | : | Work-Life Harmony as a Mediator in Employee's Staying Intention |
Author | : | Shailendra R. Patil,Anjali R. Patil,Vinay R. Patil |
Abstract | : |
Today's dynamic workplace has a different working schedule than in the
past, which typically starts in the morning at 10 and ends in the evening
(Bharath, 2009). The global market's technology advancements have
caused people's beliefs, values, attitudes, views, thinking, and behavior
to alter at work and at home, which has an impact on their personal,
professional, and familial lives (Geevarghese& Devi K.K.S., 2018).
Organizations can now easily stay in touch with their staff day and night
because of technology (Morgan, 2003). Employees are under pressure
and obliged to focus extra on work and less on personal life as a result of
the increased workload. Due to stress and an imbalanced workload,
employees no longer have such a healthy harmony between their
professional and personal life, according to Bhagwagar (2009). Worklife harmony is now seen by both employers and employees as a major
issue (Sturges& Guest D., 2004). Work-life conflict has grown as a result
of shifts in the workforce's demographics and the substantial growth in
the proportion of female employees over the past few decades. (2005)
Boyar et al. An unbalanced work-life schedule hurts performance and
job satisfaction, which eventually increases the likelihood of turnover
(Surienty et al., 2014). As a result of employee attrition, firms must
spend a lot of money hiring and training new staff
