 Name : Post Recession Performance Analysis of Indian Banks: A Study for 2008-2012

 Abstract :
Performance of banking sector has a very significant influence on the economic growth. Post 2008 has been a very significant time period not only in the context of Indian economy but also for the whole world economy. During this time period, most o world economies were going through a phase of recovery, while some were still struggling with the impact of recession. This article makes an attempt to study the performance of banks in India during this crucial time period. We have classified the banking sector in India in 5 different categories, like nationalized banks, SBI & associates, new private banks, old private banks and foreign banks. Aggregate data relating to all the categories of banks have been collected on eight very significant parameters like cost of deposit, return on advances, net profit, return on assets, return on equity, Net NPA as % to Net Advances, Spread as a % of total assets and capital adequacy ratio as per Basel 1. An attempt has been made to analyze and compare the performance of the banks on the basis of these parameters in the post recession period.

 Abstract :
Job satisfaction is in regard to one’s feeling or state of mind pertaining to the nature of work. The whole gamut is subjective in nature . Thus the individual’s perception is related with it. Job satisfaction or dissatisfaction of a teacher depends to a great extent on the degree of perception of the roles prescribed by the employer. Since teachers are role model for the society , a dissatisfied soul is a cause of concern. The attributes and variable influencing it are Gender, location, nature of the organization and Teaching profession , class room teaching , child centered practice , educational process , pupils and teachers The empirical estimates show normality of distribution of the data and the residuals after OLS estimation. There are six aspects namely, personal aspect, salary and promotion, physical facilities, institutional plan and policies, relationship with authorities and co workers and lastly satisfaction with social and family welfare. . The study shows the relative contribution of the factors affecting job satisfaction.

 Abstract :
The ancient historical cities and the cultural heritage sites have always been a source of attraction for tourists. The infrastructure facilities and opportunities available in Punjab have attracted tourists from all over the world. Punjab is dotted with magnificent tourists places. Apart from the various other travel destinations Punjab has a vast cultural treasure stemming from a historic past. The number of tourist places and sites in Punjab is so great that a single tour to discover the multifarious facets of its wonderful heritage is not enough. The present study focuses on exploring the integrated information framework for tourist places in Punjab and to find out the perception of tourists regarding this integrated information framework. For the present study, data has been collected from both primary and secondary sources. Primary data was collected on the basis of a structured questionnaire whereas secondary data has been collected on the basis of relevant review of literature. The results of the study depicted that Punjab is the one of the most historic states in India. As far as the information framework is concerned, people feel it easy to use this collective information related to tourists places thus underlining the importance of constructing an integrated information system in order to improve the performance of tourism sector in Punjab.

 Abstract :
Quality of Work Life and Organizational Commitment act as a basic concept for any commercial operations in the organization and hence the researcher had considered the quality of work life and organizational commitment as most important and for which this study issued. The objective of the present study is, to find the relationship between Quality of Work life and Organizational commitment of the Employees of manufacturing sector. Data were collected from 171 employees. Karl person coefficient of correlation was used for data analysis. The study reveals that a significant difference positive relationship exists between QWL and Organizational Commitment of employees in manufacturing sector. In concurrence with the ascertained importance of an employee's role in the organization, therefore , the present research is an attempt to study quality of work life and organization commitment where experience help in Manufacturing organizations to retain employees and help them towards career development, increasing managerial effectiveness and organization commitment.

We are at the beginning of a new century where intelligence and success are not viewed in the same way they were before. New theories of intelligence are introduced and are gradually replacing the traditional theory. The whole student has become the center of concern, not only his reasoning capacities, but also his creativity, emotion and interpersonal Skills. IQ alone is not the measure of success but the emotional intelligence, social intelligence also plays an important role in the individuals success and adjustment (Goleman,1995). The purpose of this study is to see whether there is any relationship between emotional intelligence and stress of Ph.D Research Scholars of different disciplines and Universities. Does the level of Emotional intelligence affect the level of stress of Ph.D Scholars?The present study is an attempt to know the level of stress of scholars to identify the factors affecting it as it is very much important for those who at some stage oftheir thesis work and for others as well to take steps to lower down the stress.

 Abstract :
ERP systems are very wide in scope and it is extremely complex to implement an ERP system. It takes lots of time for planning, consulting and implementation because ERP systems can also push an organization towards generic processes, even when customized processes may be a source of competitive advantage. Implementation of ERP system requires significant changes on employees and organization procedures. ERP systems differ from traditional in-house or custom development systems in three ways; The user may have to make changes to business processes and procedures; the user may need to introduce customizations and the user becomes dependent on the ERP vendor for assistance and updates. This paper throws the light on the perception regarding ERP implementation process, Time taken for ERP implementation, Organizational and Geographical scope of ERP, Operating system , Modules etc. and the results indicate that with respect to success of ERP in implementation phase, respondents had a positive perception regarding all the resources except user resources. However, the mean value was not very high with the resources, this shows there is a room for improvement for all the resources during implementation phase.

 Abstract :
The main aim of present research article is to examine the relationship between celebrity endorsements and brand, and its influence on consumer's buying behaviour. In addition, it is also gauged in this study, in what manner customer makes brand preferences. This article suggests 14 point model which can be used as blue-print criteria and can be utilized by brand marketers for choosing celebrities and capitalizing the celebrity resource by way of 360 degree brand communication which, according to this paper is the foundation of the impact of celebrity endorsement. This present paper initiates with the review of existing literature accessible on celebrity endorsements and its influence on consumers buying behaviour, which offers an understanding into the study theme and explains numerous significant facets interrelated to the subject area. The findings of the study revealed that consumers perceive products or services endorsed by celebrity more attractive and influential as compared to non-endorsed products or services, likewise it is confirmed in the study that celebrity endorsements positively influencing the purchase intention among consumers.

 Abstract :
E-Shopping has developed in launching the new products at the accurate time and the electronic transactions are growing rapidly through this. Most of the people who use the internet to purchase goods online, but that there are still some reasons for which consumers are unwilling to purchase. The paper builds on the relevant literature and at the same time examines the consumer behavior by constructing structured questionnaire. Major objectives of the marketers are, to identify the factor that influence buying behavior towards E-shopping purchase decisions and to analyze the shift in buying behavior and to explore the reasons why potential consumers do not prefer online shopping. Sample in the study was restricted to 100 respondents keeping in mind the research objective and constraint. Hence, the present study directs the companies to focus on these aspects in order to attract the customers towards E-Shopping behavior.

 Name : An Innovative Move towards Increasing Rice Production: A Study on System of Rice Intensification Method (SRI Method) In Daang District of Gujarat

 Abstract :
For any country and for any state in that country the biggest burning issue is of food grains. In this era of industrialization and urbanization the land required to cultivate food grains is reducing. Since our nation India is an agricultural country with almost 60% of population is associated with this sector in a direct or indirect manner for their livelihood, thus for farmers it becomes huge question to survive because they also need money, education for children, and other facilities in order to live a happy and peaceful life. Farmers have an option of growing cash crops so that they can get quick access to money but then the problem of food grains will deteriorate further. The answer to these queries is one in which whatever crop farmer grow in his farm its productivity should increase. Large numbers of farmers in villages of Daang district in Gujarat state are applying System of Rice Intensification (SRI) method in order to improve the productivity of their farm output. This paper attempts to explore the insights of SRI method, how it is applied, what are the benefits of this method, and how it is better than other traditional methods of growing rice. The study has been conducted in Daang district of Gujarat state on those farmers who are applying SRI method for rice production.

Indian agriculture is blend of many risk and uncertainties. In case of crop, loss or failure farmers are facing evils of financial resources and technological efforts. Crop insurance is an effective device for Indian farmers. However, crop insurance is not popular as required in Indian farmers. Researcher is attempts some facts of present crop insurance schemes of India. Agriculture Insurance Company of India (AIC) is in key role due to govt. subsided schemes/plans. Privatization leads it to competitive market with innovative ideas and plans. Author depend on some research paper projects and literature surveyed to make out crop insurance plans in India to provides a agenda for designing a crop insurance scheme based on the premise that insurance is a cost effective risk management technique. The paper also provides some innovative ideas and thinking toward both improving the existing crop insurance scheme and lift up the interest of insurer and farming community.

 Name : Impact of IFRS Adoptiation Compared With IGAAP on Activity Based Ratio: An Analysis Based on Selected Indian Companies

 Abstract :
In this study, the main purpose is to examine the impact of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) adoption by Indian firms on Activity Based Ratios. The study employs an innovative design known as “same firm-year” research design (2011-12) to know this impact. Gray Index was used to find the impact of IFRS adoption on Activity Based ratios of six Indian companies while, Paired sample t test were used to test the statistical significance of the differences in mean between ratios under IFRS and Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IGAAP) respectively. The main finding from the study is that IFRS adoption has caused a negative impact on most of the Activity Based of Indian firms, but the impact was not statistically significant and through t test it was found that there is no difference between IGAAP and IFRS.

With the aim of providing service to humanity, the hospital (THE MAHARAJ SAWAN SINGH CHARITABLE HOSPITAL) is borne of love in 1986 whose mortar was mixed with the sweat of loving service. The hospital in present was not first effort of charity. Before it a small charitable hospital with this was established in the colony (Radha Swami Satsang Beas) in 1958. After some time the present hospital came into existence. With the capacity of 300 beds which can be expand up to 500 beds the hospital is completely provides free treatment and serve the common man as VIP. The spirit of service (seva) motivate the dera hospitals in other medical services like blood bank ,eye camps and treatment of diseases those are common in that area as the hospital is situated near the road so accident cases are also the major concern. This hospital is serving a huge number of patients per year with love. All the patients get treatment here free of cost this hospital is the combination of no cost and high quality. Not only this hospital but also all the hospitals of medical relief society serve with love. Through the management point of view, its management has become the centre of clock. In this case study, we are going to discuss that how they are providing full satisfaction to all the patients as well as staff/sevadars,how they dealt with different problems like illiterate patients medical record keeping and all major concerns like hot weather, cleanliness ,proper utilization of energy resources , how to retain staff, biomedical waste etc. Also this hospital proved again that efficiency, effectiveness, quality not only based on luxurious infrastructure, but also on commitment, dedication and meditation. Therefore in healthcare world we need such kind of attitude towards patients as well as community. Only humanity and love with patients in real life during treatment will make a significant change for service provider. Further we will be discussing in case study.
